How is it No-cost?

Simply put, the HealthWorX program is a traditional Section 125 or Cafeteria Plan that is partnered with a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization for wellness and telehealth services. Although premiums are deducted like any traditional medical plan, the non-profit (in fulfilling its IRS certified mission) donates much of its revenue and received donations back to the employee. Here's a step-by-step guide:

  • The employee receives their check every pay period like normal

  • The employee receives a non-taxable subsidy (donation) from the non-profit
